Further
Hope for Sinusitis Sufferers
Sinusitis
remains one of the most chronic conditions in the United
States, affecting tens of millions of people every year.
That's the bad news. The good news is that companies
are continuing research in addressing this problem and
every year new advances are made.
And
this year there's a lot of reason to hope. For one, the
Mayo Clinic classified sinusitis as an Immune Disorder
this year, with supporting research to help develop new
ways of treating sinusitis. If you missed the story about
the classification, you can read it at:

And
companies are coming out with new treatments. Kurve Technology
was formed in 2001 to help combat sinusitis and is expected
to introduce a new treatment later this year. You can
follow the progress of its new ViaNase therapy at:

Drug
companies continue to research new drugs to help fight
sinusitis and several new drugs could soon find their
way to the market.
Between
living a healthier lifestyle and keeping up to date on
progress of new treatments, there's definite hope for
chronic sinusitis sufferers. And hopefully you'll find
that with some changes you will be able to "live
long and prosper."
